Senegal National Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence (2023):

Senegal's national AI strategy launched in September 2023, and overseen by the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy (MCTEN). The strategy builds upon existing digital initiatives such as the Digital Strategy 2025 and National Data Strategy. The SNDIA focuses on developing human capacity, fostering responsible AI governance, and creating regional synergies to establish Senegal as an AI hub in West Africa.
